What is the One District One Product (ODOP)?• The ODOP initiative is a flagship program aimed at promoting balanced regional growth, boosting local economic potential, and creating job opportunities by focusing on a unique product from each district. • Initially launched by the Uttar Pradesh Government in January 2018, it was later expanded nationwide by the Central Government. • The initiative is managed by the Ministry of Food Processing Industries and coordinated with the Directorate General of Foreign Trade (DGFT) as part of the Districts as Export Hubs initiative. • It is centrally sponsored, with funding provided in a 60:40 ratio between the Central and State Governments.
